Rage Reviews
Origin: 20/25
It developed on Elsa’s powers and delved further into the lore of the land. It gave us new lands and interesting characters to learn about. With all this, it still managed to keep it true to the original story. Even the idea of the elements was a nice touch that made the Disney world feel magical and gives children something to learn and enjoy at the same time.
Story: 20/25
A fun and dramatic story that children and adults can both enjoy. It had funny moments throughout that helped parents get through 104 minutes. There were some points where I thought a little bored, and even my 4 year old boy was bored at points. Do I think it is as good as the first? Yes I do, but it isn’t perfect.
Camera/SFX: 22/25
Disney improve every year with their effects and animations. Compared to the the first film it looks a lot crisper, and goes into detail a lot more. My favourite scene was Kristoff’s scene where he starts singing a rock anthem, the montage and different mikey takes of the music industry was hilarious, it was something different than I usually see in a Disney film. I felt with the budget and brains behind the film that they could have done more to make it feel magical, but to a child it would be great.
Performance: 21/25
A good cast with great voices that make each character unique and fun. Obviously theres autotune involved so of course it would sound good. But the way they say each line is engaging for young ones and it makes goos songs. It was a bit of fun that you don’t need to take seriously, I did hope for something more from the newer cast, they didn’t bring much to the fold.
